Every year, I make my way to Texas to see my niece and nephew. It’s mandatory that I take some photos of each of them when I go down. They need to slow down. They’re growing up way…too…fast!
The B Family - Little Rock, Arkansas
I hope you guys had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Hopefully, you have awoken from your Turkey coma. Not sure if I have yet, or not.
Josh contacted me about wanting to take family pictures. He and his wife are adopting three beautiful girls and wanted to celebrate it in pictures. How could you say no to that?
Bethany and I went to their beautiful home in Little Rock and were immediately welcomed by the three girls. They ran up to us and were game for pictures immediately. After a few high-fives, they were ready to go. Each one wanted to be first every time, so we had to come up with a system on how to do it. What photographs of children can hide is the difficulty of getting that picture. As most parents would understand, kids can be hot one minute and cold the next. Fortunately for me this beautiful November afternoon, all three wanted to be posing in front of the camera from start to finish. My kind of kids!
After we finished taking pictures of the family, they told us about The CALL and the adoption process. Bethany and I have been talking about adoption over the last several months and it was great to hear their story. You could tell by the smiles on their faces, all 5 of them, that they felt like they wont the lottery.
